We’ve never called ourselves a farm-to-table restaurant, although that philosophy is very important to us! As a restaurant, our goal has always been to support the farms around us, using “in season” ingredients, sourced as close as possible!

Beretta Farms

Our story begins on the ranch, but we like to think the next phase of our production is just as important. Our proteins are truly defined by our butcher, his cleaver, and the signature butcher's apron. Beretta’s superior products are the result of our butchers having honed understandings of muscle structures, bone conformation, and traditional craftsmanship. Artisanal butchery is beyond just cutting meat but is the link between animal husbandry and responsible meat consumption. At Beretta, our butchers are ethically aware and no part of the animal is put to waste. To our butchers, a filet is someone’s dinner.

Esquimalt Wine Company

The company focuses on making Apéritif style wines and liqueurs.

 

Lockwood Farms

Farming has been in the Lockwood family for over 250 years. 

James and Cammy Lockwood are an awesome family farm team. Farming is a passion for each one, and they each excel in different areas. Most of the time, you can find them outstanding in their fields.

Our goal at Lockwood Farms is to produce high-quality and quantity of food for our community while respecting our earth, animals, and people. We steward all our resources well and make decisions with thoughtful intent.

Sheringham Distillery

We use time-honoured distilling methods and B.C. grown grains to achieve our sustainable and traditional approach to the production of our spirits. Our small batch hand-crafted spirits (Vodka, William's White – Double Distilled Grain Spirit (a.k.a. White Whisky) and Whisky) are all made with 100% B.C. agricultural products. We source local ingredients from Vancouver Island whenever possible. All our products are mashed, fermented, and distilled at our distillery. We are proudly committed to localism, quality & sustainability.

Rootside Provisions

Rootside started in 2015 as a small Ginger Beer company because they wanted to drink a tasty ginger beer made with real ginger juice. That idea has cascaded into a cocktail-fueled love affair with all things botanical and fresh. Taste is king at Rootside.

Stillmeadow Farm

Stillmeadow Farm, in Metchosin, produces sheep, hogs, and chickens as well as hay and several varieties of grain. The farm has been in continual operation for over six decades.

Follow Executive Chef David Healey as he appears at Stillmeadow Farm, learning about their farming practices, and creating a dish to "celebrate that pork, and how good it is!".

At Natural Pastures, all of their traditional and inspired cheeses are handcrafted with the fresh, wholesome milk of Island cows and water buffalo.

The naturally raised and antibiotic-free meats that find a place on our menu come from our friends at Two Rivers, who share our passion for ethical food choices.

 

Bright Greens Farms

A family farm located in two forty-foot shipping containers converted for vertical hydroponics. They have nicknamed the units April and May as it’s always spring for them year-round.

Mile Zero Coffee Co. is a small batch custom coffee roaster on Vancouver Island – a place we love to call home.  We’re focused on serving the vibrant local market and community around us the freshest specialty coffee available.

They are a family-owned working cattle ranch, situated in the semi-remote South Cariboo region of British Columbia, Canada producing premium AND certified organic beef for the food industry.
